I have all four games and have spent time with them all. MVP graphics are great , the pitching is great but i am sorry for the MVP fans but it's just too easy to make contact with the ball(but it is still hard to get a hit), this is what turns me off plus the lack of options. ASB has everything and is wonderful but it does have major problems when it comes to fielding (it's just too hard to turn a double) plus it takes too long to play. WSB i believe is the best game it has everything plus the grahics to boot. But the game that really suprised me is MLB 2004. Yes MLB!! I dont know what IGN was reviewing but this game has me hooked out of all four. The batting stances the animations(not the graphics, the anamaitons are the best in any game) the pitching batter interface is the best period. The ability to guess the pitch plus it's location which changes during the game. When you guess it correctly both pitch and location a red lock on light begins to blink, which increases your chances of getting a hit. also it's true that a pitch icon comes up that can't be removed but the pitch never lands where the icon is especially if you have a good pitcher so it's very hard at times just to make contact unless you guess right.. Last night i played with the rangers against the mets. I was up 3-0 after 3 and then up came the big boys for the mets (Vaungh, Pizza etc) and the game was tied with two qiuck homers. By the fifth inning the mets pitching staff was struggling and the zones began to change(instead of four to guess from it became two) showing that there pitcher was tired. Also my batter icon got bigger but i still wasn't able to captilize and lost 6-3(i was even able to pick-off franco at first). Each player plays to his abiltiy better than any other game besides WSB.Also the big apple goes up and down, the train in houston moves back and forth etc. Buy the game it will supprise you just as it did me. I truly believe it is a all around better game than MVP. The only problem i've had is the cpu strealing bases other then that it's a wonderful game.

Yea, ASB is awesome, but is long. They take too long to get back to the mound after a pitch, like they pitch it and then get back to the mound like real life, if we could skip that it would be fine though.

For ASB, I don't know why people complain about the time, I could care less if I play a game that lasts 20 mintues or a game that lasts more than an hour, maybe it's because of the pitches the players are able to throw...
Turning two is easy, it just depends on where the ball is hit and how fast the guys are...
The only drawback of this game is the fact that people don't stay with it... I have to say, it has this curve where you can't just expect to have the game and just be able to be a master with it...Comment
