mirabelli is 38 in the game, but has been 28 for 3 years with the sox

embree is also wrong, and he has been here for a year

and nomar doesn't wear a shin guard, i go to alot of games and watch the rest

also, stirrups???? who wears those????
they wear solid socks and have for the last few years

This affects the gameplay HOW?


try to edit daubach in ps2 version and watch your game freeze!

A. I never edit players, I always use them as default ratings
B. that could just be YOUR PS2, there is yet evidence of this being a widespread epidemic

i am not editing his ratings, i am editing his fake name

the xbox has this problem, as it is mentioned in roster FAQs

also, as for those detials effecting gameplay, they don't, but the game isn't as accurate as it should be

fenway is missing many things as well

I guess I'm just not all that upset by minor details like those existing in a game... you'll never buy a game "in any sport" that has EXACT rosters, mainly due to late signings during spring training... and as far as socks and shin guards go... I'd prolly never even notice anything that trivial..

Now if I see Rey Ordonez leading the NL in HR's at the all-star break, THEN I see reason to start complaining...

I was editing John Novak's name and the game froze! Argh?

Yes, argh. Here's the list of players that cause the problem:
John Novak - White Sox
Wes Helms - Brewers
Mike Kinkade - Dodgers

Here's the workaround: in the Roster Editor, select the player, press A, and choose Edit Player like normal. On the Vital Stats screen, change position to First Baseman and edit whatever else you want. Finish editing by pressing Start until you end up at the Roster Editor screen again. Edit the player again and change him back to his original position.
