What team to choose in Franchise Mode?
I have finally got my sliders ready to go and I am in the middle of a jam. I don't know who to choose to control as my franchise. On the one hand I want to be the Braves- they are my favorite team and I would have a balst playing them, but on the other hand I want to be someone like the D-Rays or the Orioles. Taking a team from the bottom and building them to a contender would be rewarding. Please give me some insight fellow players, I need some help!"A two count is routine. You kick out at two if you aren’t done. Kicking out at one is a MESSAGE. It says NO in capital letters. A middle finger. A promise that the other man is going to have to kill you if they’re going to put you down." ~ Brandon StroudTags: None -
Re: What team to choose in Franchise Mode?
I am leaning towards choosing the Devil Rays, I don't know about their roster, but if it has Josh Hamilton I will choose them. There are plenty of free agent pitchers I could get at the outset to beef up my rotation and with guys like Toby Hall, Ben Grieve, and Aubrey Huff I would love to choose the Rays. I have played the Braves before in a franchise and I get upset when I lose to the Expos b/c I feel that Montreal shouldn't beat me 10-4, but losing is a part of the game. Since this is the most realistic baseball game that I have played I shouldn't get so upset when I lose since I will lose quite often with the D-Rays. If I choose the D-Rays, I will begin a Devil Rays Franchise Thread."A two count is routine. You kick out at two if you aren’t done. Kicking out at one is a MESSAGE. It says NO in capital letters. Re: What team to choose in Franchise Mode?
I'd take Toronto because of their youth and guys with high potential - of course, I am using the A's right now and while it is easy doing well with this team, the starting pitching is holding the team together right nowComment
