I have HH20004 and I also picked up ASB2004 out of curiousity, and going on what I had read on other boards. Playing both games back and forth, I really like HH2004 better. If you go by all other opinions, I feel I must be way off. HH presents the game the way I like it presented. ASB is ok, and has some cool features(old school unis), but doesn't do it for me in gameplay like HH. I am still waiting to get WSB. The snow in Denver delayed the game getting over to my side of the state. I am a little leary of MVP, and who knows about MLB. Right now HH is the game for me, but we should all rejoice that there are choices out there that reaches everone. When could we have ever said that before?

I have ASB, HH and WSB for the PS2. I don't like ASB at all and haven't played a ton of WSB yet to comment on it in depth.
Currently, I'd take HH over the other two games anyday. ASB didn't do it for me and WSB doesn't draw me into the game like HH does. I know it's usually the other way around for most people, but I'm finding HH to be the most enjoyable baseball game of the three I played.... -

It always cracks me up how people want to tear down HH cuz of the graphics...well, they overlook the fact that the gameplay is still PERFECT and that will never change.

WSB is much prettier because of the graphics and has the alternate unis going(which are very cool) but as good as it looks its just not that satisfying beating the ai like it is in HH.HH is much more tense as the ai is pretty hard which is good.The full A,AA,AAA rostres are very nice and no one ever gives HH credit for being the only game to have these.My only gripe with 3DO is their damn blue disc which locks up on me and now wont even load up for me.I contacted 3DO and they basically said Sorry but your screwed.My retailer wont exchange game since its past 7 days of purchase.I love HH but i shouldnt have to pay 100 bucks for one game,so ill be keeping an eye out on Ebay or if that fails might have to jump ship to Sega-whom im sure has better customer service.Comment

want to know why people bash the game -because they CANT PLAY THE GAME.. who was the brainiac that designed the game so that it continually has a disk read error (this occurs on my ps2). no other game does this.. on those RARE occasions when the game does load , it SEEMS to be a decent game.. but,as you said before, if the customer support does not seem to be of much help, then how is one to play the game????

I think I would blame this one on Sony more than 3DO, there are PS2's out there that have these types of problems. In my view blue disk or not, they should work, the developers shouldn't have to worry about them working on every different version of the PS2. i'd have to second that, as i have HH for xbox and it purrs like a kitten, never had a lockup (yet), also no distorted sound or any problem for that matter, best BB game i've ever played, the AI never lets you rest for a minute, a definate 5 out of 5 stars.Comment
