Home runs with cursor

Just a couple of questions of the WSB experts out there:
1) I have played three games without a home run using cursor batting. My sliders are set to 65 CPU pitching and 38 CPU average with everything else at the Pro default. I also have the pitch speed on medium and cursor on medium.
2) Are you getting realistic stats in your franchise?
3) Have you noticed that when using timed hitting, the contact fields are all messed up? That's why I like the cursor hitting, because the bat ACTUALLY HITS the ball.
4) Is it possible to hit one out with just the contact swing? How often does this occur?

I've played about a dozen games now on the Pro setting, and I can only hit homeruns with a power swing. None with a contact swing...

i played my 4th game today, i hit one with a power, and one with a contact. i think i was on rookie though, i still lost!

I play on All-Star with WSBFranchise's new custom sliders (based on xcell's and Graphik's offerings) and have hit one HR with the Contact swing. It was with Edgar Martinez. More often than not you'll need the Power swing to hit one out, but if you time it just right and hit it on the sweet spot with the Contact swing (and with a guy that has HR ability), you can still hit one out.

I play on All-Star with WSBFranchise's new custom sliders (based on xcell's and Graphik's offerings) and have hit one HR with the Contact swing. It was with Edgar Martinez. Has anyone hit a homer with a pitcher yet? I mean, a REGULAR pitcher... not A Rod coming in to pitch and then hitting one or creating a pitcher with really good hitting stats, but what about just say... like a regular pitcher?

So far I've hit one with Greg Maddux and one with Mike Hampton. Hampton's was a no-doubter, while Maddux's scraped the top of the wall.

Yeah I've hit plenty with Power and I've hit some shots with contact, none have gone out yet but it seems that you can still go yard with either swing. None with a pitcher though

Man, I couldn't hit a ball for nothing with the cursor. I played the game all day, still couldn't. Started 3 franchises, still couldn't, really pissed me off. Then all of the sudden I started hitting them like nothing, and now I'm a great hitter with the cursor. Just keep practicing, it will come to you.
