I wouldn`t say he has the best swing, but I love Johnny Damon`s swing. It`s so unique, and when he hits line drives, they keep rising and rising out of the park. He seems to swing down on the ball.Comment

To me, Johnny Damon has a little leaguer swing. Like you said, its nothing pretty. Classic slap hitter's swing. He makes it work for him, though, and allows him to use his speed.Comment

I'll take Palmeiro. His swing is whip-quick, and so smooth it barely looks like he tapped the ball - then it lands 450 feet away.
Todd Helton hasn't been mentioned here, so I'll give him an honorable mention. When his back isn't hurting - he covers the entire strike zone quicker than anyone since Boggs.Shawn Drotar

I'll take Palmeiro. His swing is whip-quick, and so smooth it barely looks like he tapped the ball - then it lands 450 feet away.

Kotsay's is very pretty, but Bonds' is just flat out quick. That's why he is such a great hitter, because he can wait longer than most and still pull the ball and hit with amazing power.Comment

Bonds has got to have one of the best swings. His swing is so compact that he anything he hits is a moonshot. I think he has 9 hr in spring training alone. Plus that bat wiggle is high quality no one comes close in before pitch bat/body movementComment

I believe that Edgar Martinez has the sweetest right handed swing in baseball, Barry Bonds has the best left handed swingComment
