Dd the Gameplay Sliders Really Make That Much Differece?

if u read all the slider posts, people have way different settings and they are all saying that they are like the results.
It;s very hard to draw any conclusions from reading all these posts. This leads me to believe that the sliders so effect gameplay as much as you think. Just try using the default sliders for a while and see if you like those too. The only one that seems to matter is the "CPU thow strikes one", since we all want more balls then they are throwing. You would think setting this at "1" would make the CPU throw lots of balls, but it doesn't happen???

I've definitely noticed a huge difference in changing my sliders, I now get a much more defensive oriented game in general but also a wide variety of games which is nice.

I've also noticed changing the cpu's pitching I really do get alot more walks, I haven't gone so far as to lower anything to 1 but i've gotten great results from more moderate changes.

So in conclusion, yes I think they really do make a difference. I'm playing XBox version btw, so I can't speak for the PS2 version.
