It would be cool if they did convert it, but they never will because it just wouldn't sell. It's a little to "Japanesy" for the American market. Fake names wouldn't fly either. Most people want to play sports games with their favorite stars now that they can.
They make some really great games over there that would never see the light of day here except as an import.
I had a much longer post on this subject earlier, but the forums crashed while I was in the middle of it.
