I was playing the PS2 version as the cubbies and on a fly ball to LEFT field, the game said that Sosa who is in RF somehow got injured. it then shows the CPU hitter on the floor in pain as if he had gotten hurt...but thats not the glitch.....after subbing in troy o'leary for the injured Sammy, Kerry Wood's fastball instantaneously lost 10 mph...he's throwing 87 instead of 95-97....and he still had half his stamina....the actual oitches seemed to go just as fast, but the radar gun was just off.....anyone have something similar happen...what causes it? thanks

Injuries seem to give this game fits. I was playing the Braves the other day with the Mets. Piazza Hits a bomb to center which Andrew Jones goes up over the wall to make a great play on. NICE! But then it says Sheffield is hurt. Except it shows a Mets batter rolling around at the plate. They sub him out and now Mo Vaughn is at the plate with absolutely no graphical overlays. Just a cursor and pitch preview. No scores, stats, hot zones, nothin. Stays this way for his at bat and then goes back to normal for the next batter."We All Have Sizeable Scars"

Injuries seem to give this game fits. I was playing the Braves the other day with the Mets. Piazza Hits a bomb to center which Andrew Jones goes up over the wall to make a great play on. NICE! how's this for an injury glitch... I'm the Brewers in my franchise and was playing the Braves... ball hit to right, Hammonds makes the catch but is injured... replace Hammonds with Brady Clark the switch Clark and John Vander Wal around (leftfield and rightfield)... Vander Wal comes up next inning and hits a bomb to right... after the game the box score credits Hammonds with the homer... stats stay this way and Hammonds is still hurt... weird... (by the way judging by the names in this post, it seems that I'll be doing alot of this
at Miller Park instead of watching the action)

look i've talked about this already......
on double switches and subs sometimes it messes up pitcher velosity and sometimes the stats.
double switched B. Hunter and B. Wagner - lost 10 mph fastball, saved game credited to B.Hunter-OF crappy
