Number of foul balls

This really annoyed me last year, and it's back again this year. I guess part of it is my fault by swinging to early or too late, but it seems like there are a ton of foul balls when I hit. I would say I pop out due to foul balls 8-10 times per game!

Does anyone else have this problem?? It gets old after a while to not even put the ball in play!

I thinks its you man, if you getting to many foul outs, lower the pitch speed and concentrate on your timing.

I saw my share of foul pop outs, but not that many since the first couple of days that I owned the game... every now and again (when I get fooled)... most of my foul balls are long shots down the lines that are way out of play... actually, I think that the foul balls are pretty realistic in the game... the number of foul balls that is

for the first few games the only good contact I got was on foul balls, but I tell you that first homer I hit using the contact button, I stood up and cheered like I was at the game. The secret to this game is it teaches you to think like a baseball player, you have to practice and even that won't guarantee you a win.

Believe it or not, foul balls are apart of baseball. That's what makes realism such a big factor for videogames. Developers put in more foul balls for more realism because that's what gamers want, but then people basically complain because the game is too real.

I think it is just you and you need more practice i get fouls all the time to but i also get alot of hits you have to get to know each batter and what pitches to lay off and have perfet timing and take some balls and dont switch at the bad pitches and take some balls

I love the fouls in this game. I had a 12-pitch at-bat last night. I kept fouling off and fouling off, working the pitcher. I unfortunately lined out to 3rd, but it was really tense and exciting.

Also remember this, a 10 pitch at bat because you hit a bunch of foul balls adds to the pitchers total pitch count making him tired sooner....just like in a real game.
