now,now....guru i see you slighted my reds...not that they are going to win the series ...but if the twins can make the list....and the cardinals who have had there hands fool with cincy this year.....

not to mention there is a fair amount of reds fans present.....

of course im one of many who have predicted the lakers 3 peat (whaddup!!!!)

and nailed the patriots super bowl win and the field goal finish (remember that stevie o ) so im on a roll......

As much as I want my WhiteSox to make it...its not happening...im going with a seattle vs atlanta world series...with the M's winning 4-2

I voted for the Braves, but theyre my favorite team, so you might call it biased. I just hope it isn't the Yankees. I don't want to think about the strike for now.

Of course the Yanks will be in the hunt (I can't imagine a time when they won't be with the Boss as the owner) with all their hitting. We remember in 96 when they won it playing National League style - pitch and small ball. Now they are a true slugging AL club, but if they get into a series with Oakland or a tough pitching club, it could get interesting. The A's have Mulder, Hudson, Zito, and now Lilly, who pitched a shutout in his debut. That's why my dark horse pick is Oakland, who have enough offense with Chavez, Tejada, Hatteberg, and proven playoff performer Justice to win. Arizona last year showed why pitching is always the key.
