My one pitcher only has an 80 mph fastball. Now i know major leaguers no matter how bad they are throw a fastball harder than that maybe i brought him up to the majors too soon any suggestions.

This might be velocity, if the fastball has movement, then it's good. B-Law of the Padres doesn't throw very fast, he's only in the 80's when he throws a fastball.


The guy might be a groundout type pitcher with a speed like that, depending on what seam pitch he has.

Try staying with him, Warrior, and see what happens. You may want to go heavy with his off-speed stuff. Place your 2-seamers and 4-seamers very carefully with this guy.
He may turn out to be okay afterall.

Believe me, I am a franchise with the Pirates , they have very few high velocity picters and many rookies in the rotation. Stick with him, I am a few season in and many of this rookies have panned out very well.
