Are a lot of people using timed hitting?
Just started this game...Was a little freaked out with the cursor at first. Now, I seem to have the hang of it a little more. Should I stick with it? Or is timed hitting something I should try too?Tags: None -
Re: Are a lot of people using timed hitting?
I use timed, and it seems to work pretty well. I'm hitting about .285 with the Cubs 30 or so games into the season, and I get between 8-12 hits per game. It's easier, I think, to work the count without the cursor on the screen, and it makes things a little more realistic. -

I can't seem to figure out how to turn off the cursor. I'm probably just an idiot, but can someone help me out.Comment

Re: Are a lot of people using timed hitting?
Do you have to aim in timed hitting? or just use press the contact or power buttons.Comment

There were several post about this topic earlier in this forum. And many determined that WSB has some form of zone hitting. I've played around with the directional hitting and it seems to influence where the ball is hit. So yes, I push in the direction of the ball similar to High Heat. Timed hitting is great if you turn up the pitching speed to "very fast." Feels like a real ballgame.
I don't care for cursor hitting very much.Comment
