What do you guys think of this trade?

I would send LF M.Kinkade(76), Adrian Beltre, and Dave Roberts to the Mariners in exchange for Rhodes. My bullpen has struggled this year, and I'm looking to get better at it. Beltre is having a decent year, Kinkade and Roberts hardly play because Ward is at LF and I signed Lofton at the begenning of the season so he's at CF. Beltre is my starting 3B, I would just have to pick up someone in his place though. I need a solid lefty, and Rhodes is as good as they come, but I haven't done the deal yet, but what do you guys think of it?

matter fact, now that I think about it Rhodes setting up Gagne would be nasty, I'm doing the deal.

To me it seems like you're giving up a little too much for a set up man. Especially one of Rhodes' age.

yea it does seem like that but Kinkade has not played a game for me, Roberts never plays. Beltre is decent, but could be better. And my bullpen has struggled, when you look at it that way I get the better part of the deal.

With my mariners franchise, rhodes is having a flat out monster year setting up Kazu in the pen. The only downside with getting Rhodes is that he is a free agent at the end of Year 1 and wants about a 3yr/26BP contract.

You might want to send Lofton to the Pirates since they signed him a few months ago, and you have Beltran to patrol CF anyway. Who are you playing at third since you got rid of Beltre?
