I kind of wonder if Selig and his network cronies would allow that. The Rays/Phillies series brought in horrible tv ratings and an all Florida WS would probably do much, much worse. It could be baseball's equivalent to last years Stanley Cup finals where only the last couple of games were televised.
On the other hand if the 30 or 40 people in Florida who actually care about MLB turn on every tv in their houses it might not look as bad.Comment

If the Angels pick up Peavy and keep K-Rod, I see them breaking their 'Boston Curse'.

If the Angels pick up Peavy it is more than likely K-Rod will be gone. He has made it clear on more than one occasion that he believes the Angels have slighted him because they had 6 years to sign him to long term deal and they didn't. I also don't see the Angels commiting 5 years and $60 million to Rodriguez when Jose Arredondo or Scot Shields could step in as the closer and allow the Angels to pursue keeping Mark Teixeira.Comment
