    Trades in Game

Noticed some anomalies in franchise mode. CPU will trade superstars on a frequent basis. I saw the same player traded twice in a span of 1 month?? Actually happened a couple of times. Anyone else notice this?

Haven't seen that myself. Maybe he was being an A-hole!?!?!? Or maybe he was "the gay player"?????

No, I haven't seen too many big issues with the Trade AI. The Managers propose some pretty wild trades, but the ones that actually go through seem logical.

Only one trade has taken place in my season (not withstanding my own) and that was Yan and Juan Gonzalez for Gary Sheffield, which seems a bit in favor of Texas, but not too unreasonable...I think the trade AI is much smarter than last year...

                    Re: Trades in Game

Ive noticed that if you do a fantasy draft or trade alot of players yourself that the computer begins to trade alot of players twice. Like lets say Dunn going to the Giants then being traded to the Phillies.

It seems like this in everygame. It may just be nothing but its something I have noticed in most games.

this happens alot in real baseball too. remember piazza, colon. teams pick up players in trades that they know other teams want!

I saw the Mets trade Piazza for what looks like 2 or 3 'nondescript' players. At the time, he wasn't hurt, was 5th in the NL in Homers and was generally having a good year. It seemed like a bad trade... I am almost to the all star break (15 games) and the Mets are in last place...(I would venture a guess that this is in part due to this numbskull trade)..
