    Injury frequency

Just wondering how often you guys see injuries in played games, because I haven't seen any yet for either team, and I'm about 55 games into my franchise. Players get injured in simmed games, but I have yet to see it happen in games I'm actually playing.

Same here. 42 games into mine and nothing, no injuries.

The only player I had leave a game with injury was when he was hit by a pitch (it looked like in the head) and it was just for the remainder of the game, other than that I am 40+ games in and I have only seen them in sim games.

            Re: Injury frequency

Injuries only seem to happen when you sim. I simmed through a year when I first got the game just to see how realistic the stats were and every team, including the one I was controlling, had a bunch of injuries.

I'm 40some games into my franchise and I've played every game and I've yet to see an injury. I did see an injury once in exhibition but it was because my batter took a fastball to the jaw. Ouch.
What's wierd is that I haven't even seen any of the ones that you would think occur between games like illness and stuff like that. It's weird and while not a game killer it sort of sucks because you never have to deal with using the DL.

I've never even heard of that....has that happened in the pro's before?

Must be one hell of a slide to break your leg.....

Definitely looks very rare for EXPANSION 'in-game' injuries. I've had a few in exhibition games-- even had Larry Walker break his ankle in the scenario game where you try to break up Roy Halladay's shut-out.
