    Cablevision and YES

If there were ever a reason for a consumer to step back and say "I'm through" this dispute between millionaires is good enough. Here you have two men that are denying yankee fans from seeing their team. Mind you, I could give less than a rats arse about the "bankees", but every home town fan should be able to see their team without jumping through hoops. There will come a point were fans will have to make a choice wheather or not to pay the mortgage (rent) or for that season ticket. Sad indeed.

Isn't Cablevision owned by the brother of the Indians current owner? If so I can see why he would have some animosity towards Steinbrenner. Anyways I thought there was an agreement made this year?

This is pathetic. Supposedly the yankees backed out of the deal, it didn't get Steinbrenner enough money. I've been on YES's side this whole time, but now, screw em both, this is rediculous.

*** **** Steinbrenner! We want to watch our beloved Yanks without going out and buying a dish, you bastard. Damn I can't believe I will only be watching the highlights on ESPN and once in a while catch one of their games on CBS.

i feel bad for you guys, but i really dont care because i have directv and i love it. if you guys can get it, you should look into it. depending on how many tvs you have, it could cost the same price or even less than cablevision. not to mention their customer service is a lot better and you get all the cool satellite features like having a guide, etc
