    Anyone done the fantasy draft?

I did this for the Pirates while the computer did everyone else. I don't know if I'm a genius or the computer screws up. Here's my lineup in order of pick chosen.

    1. Alex Rodriguez SS
    2. Barry Zito LHP
    3. Bartolo Colon RHP
    4. Andrew Jones (my fav) CF
    5. Billy Koch RHsR
    6. Jacque Jones LF
    7. Mark Prior RHP
    8. Aaron Boone 3B
    9. JC Romero LHR
    10 Raul Ibanez 1B
    11. AJ Pierzynski C
    12. Ramon Vasquez 2B
    13 Torii Hunter CF
    14 Kirk Reuter LHP
    15 Ryan Jensen RHP
    16 Tony Fiore RHR
    17 Craig Counsell Ut
    18 Scott Sauerbeck LHR
    19 Quinton McCraken RF
    20 Jason Larue C
    21 Paul Quantrill RHR
    22 Gene Kingsale RF
    23 Ray King LHR
    24 Carlos Silva RHR
    25 Sean Burroughs 3B

Looking at other lineups, I'm stacked. Anyone else do the fantasy thing & find the CPU teams are weak? I did the fantasy because I don't have a favorite team in MLB anymore, thanks to Glavine's treatment from Atlanta.

I've gone 4-2 the 1st week on Pro level.

BTW, what's the diff 'tween normal draft & "snake"?

Looks good, but it can be deceiving since it depends on how the guys are actually rated.

A snake draft I beleive means that if you pick 1st in round 1, then you pick last in round 2 and so on.

I've found that if you're going to use the fantasy draft and not play with an all-star team, you've got to not take the best player available with every pick.k Early on go big, but a coupl times I was able to have pitchers like colon, mulder, and halladay AND hitters like jeter, hunter, konerko, vernon wells, eric hinske, etc... Its just unrealistic. Take an average catcher or MIF early on so your season will be more competitive.

I started off playing on pro, but after wining my seocnd game of the year 17-2, I'm going to move up to all-star starting with game 3.

Would it be possible to draft for all the teams? I was thinking of having an draft order for 1st basemen, 2nd basemen, right handed starter, left handed reliever, etc. I might make sure the Yanks stay intact cause I hate them. Especially Clemens. But I'm getting OT....Anyway I think that might make the squads more even. What do you think?

Yes, you can draft for all teams. You just have to choose all teams when you pick which team you're going to play as. Then after the draft, go in and 'unselect' all the teams except the one you're going to play as. You could do this in HH2003 for the PC, so I'm assuming it works the same in HH2004.

Yah I thought the draft wasn't as challenging as it should be, but when I simmed with that team I just missed the wild card. I had a team with similar talent as yours. Playing the games might be another story.

I don't seem to be running away w/things early. I might see what happens by the time I get to the All-star break.
