I'm not sure if this has been posted but i'll give my thought. I was playing the dodgers this morning and Nomo was on the mound and he had struck one of my players out but they way he struck me out caught my eye.
He threw a fast ball inside but then he threw a offspeed pitch just above where the fast ball went then threw the 3 pitch nowhere near the 1st 2 pitches and struck me out. So i got the thinking
IF the computer pitches to a human like that for a strike out they probably would strike out the sameway if i pitched like that to them. So in the 9th inning when i brough Benitez in I tried it out. and sure enough i would thow a fast ball then a splitter a lil above where i threw the fast ball and then a high fast ball outside the strike zone and i struck out the side for the first time since i got the game. Anybody else try emulating the way the computer pitches against a human?
