Okay... let me slow it down...

Larry Jones... Larry Jones hit a line drive back at the pitcher... he hit it VERY hard... the ball struck the pitchers' rubber... the ball... at a 45 degree angle.... headed back and over the plate... and up and into the stands... it was called a foul.... if this is a rule, and this has happened before then I've never seen it ... and nonetheless... if it is a rule... its funny as %#$@... but next time I'll get permission to laugh.

that is true - if a line drive hits the pitcher's mound on the fly & then goes into foul territory - foul ball
