I dont use timed hitting.... but i would say you need to play atleast 5 games before you can tell how good or not good the sliders are.

I've been using the same sliders all season (20+ games) and I've seen everything (close games, high scoring games, 1-0 games, blowouts by me, blowouts by the computer). If I was just to take one of those games and determine if the sliders were good or not I wouldnt really be looking at the big picture.

The one thing to remember is that this is a true baseball sim. There are going to be times when you can't hit the ball and the CPU will score 10 runs on you and there will be times when the CPU can't do a thing. For the most part once you find the right sliders the majority of your games will be just like real life: 6-12 hits/game 1-6 runs/game, but remember that everyone has off days and no team in history has ever gone undefeated not even the '61 Yanks, so sometimes you have to take your lumps, but that makes victory sweeter.
"A two count is routine. You kick out at two if you aren’t done. Kicking out at one is a MESSAGE. It says NO in capital letters. A middle finger. A promise that the other man is going to have to kill you if they’re going to put you down." ~ Brandon Stroud

I use timed hitting and I think X Cell's sliders work the same on timed hitting with no cursor, strikezone, or vibration. Ive played 7 games (all crappy teams) and have lost 1. Although the settings may seem favored to me all games have been close and a few have been me coming back and winning by one. Thanks X Cell for the sliders

My major problem with this game and these slider settings is that controlling any solid pitcher, lets say no.1 and 2 in the rotatation, will strike out the cpu batters 15+ times a game. I dont think there were more than 5 games last year with 15 Ks.

Heck, I have had no less than 3 games with K Wood with 13+ K's and Prior has had the same....one game Prior had 20 K's. Now, my only other pitcher with good K's is Clement, and he has 16 losses (talk about bad luck). My other starting pitchers have so-so K's...so good pitchers DEFINITELY do better....
