The Padres are claiming it to be their 35th season, but I am trying to figure out how that makes sense, as 1999 was their 30th season, and they started in 1969.

Year one was 1969, their 30 year was the World Series year of 1998. 35th year is this year... I know how confusing it can be MSUSpartan, but that's okay, a lot of people will be confused...
