Triple play!!

[Cardinalfreak]

Game 1 of the playoffs in my franchise as the Cardinals. Brett Tomko pitching against Randy Wolf of the Phillies. Tomko gives up 2 early runs, but goes 7 innings, striking out 4 and pitching pretty well, but Wolf totally shuts me down. I scrape out a run in the 7th, but then Brett Myers comes in and kills me in the 8th.

Bottom of the 9th. 2 to 1. Jose Mesa comes in to close for the Phillies. Rolen and Edmonds lead off with back to back singles. Edgar Renteria hits a hard grounder to third base, almost to the shortstop position. The third baseman is close enough to Rolen to tag him, then throws to second and then they barely get Renteria at first. A triple play to end the game!! So beautiful, so frustrating.

The replay had a big "triple play" at the top and the color commentator got really excited. It was cool.

Hey i had one today as well. CONGRATS!!!!!!! Yankees against D'Rays. In the 3rd inning A. Huff leads off with a single, then followed J. Sandberg with a single and then finally R. Thompson comes up to bat and D. Wells throws him a inside curve ball that he hits hard to D. Jeter. Jeter tags out Huff then throws to 2nd to get Sandberg and Soriano throws to Giambi to get the final out. The replay was great and even the commentators recognized the great feat that is almost impossible to achieve.

yeah, i performed one the other day in a game vs. the White sox. The announcers got real excited, it actually made feel like I accomplished somthing

I was playing my friend and he turned one on me i was so mad i wasnt really paying attention tho.
