I have been experimenting with the angle cam because it makes hitting harder. I also turned off the strike zone.

Straight on. I'm just used to playing that way in other baseball games and it feels more natural to me. You probably could judge breaking balls better using the slant but I just can't get into it.

angle, because it simulates the righty-lefty matchup. it's the first time in a video game i have actually had to "play the percentages".

hitting. i use the centerfield cam for pitching.

the difference it makes while hitting is in the perception. when a righty faces a righty (and same for lefty-lefty), it's much harder to judge the break on the ball. those of you who have played above little league know that this mirrors real life.
when you have a righty-lefty (or vice versa) matchup, you are able to see the entire arc of the pitch as it comes in towards you.

EA did a great job here. I dunno how many times I've been shut down in the 9th after a lefty has come outta the pen to face Giles.
