Franchise Mode - Simple or Complete

I just got ASB earlier this week, and after messing around with some different teams in exhibition games, I'm ready to start my franchise with the Cleveland Indians. I started up my franchise using Complete Mode, and I spent over an hour just looking through the various menus. I was completely overwhelmed.

I started a new franchise using Simple Mode, and I was overwhlemed again with all the menus. In the instruction manual, it says that Simple Mode has fewer team management options. Well, it still looks complicated to me. What is omitted in Simple Mode that is present in Complete Mode?

You guys have any tips on making the Franchise Mode simpler? I'm about ready to trade in ASB for HH, because there are way too many things for me to learn to play ASB in franchise mode. Help guys!

I think Simple mode has no injuries and trades. Just start playing and you will get the hang of it as you go.
