I got ASB Saturday and so far I'm shocked at how good it is. I hated last year's version and have mainly played High Heat. Any way I'm playing as the Braves in my franchise and so far I'm 0-3 in Spring Training. I did have problems hitting but I'm getting alot better. My problem is getting runners in (last game left runners in scoring position 5 times) and fielding. When I played High Heat I always had auto fielding but with ASB I have assist on. Any tips on getting runners in and fielding?

what difficulty are you playing at? If you're using cursor batting, aim for the gaps. pretty easy to control hits with cursor, but hard to make contact. Fielding, I say auto if you aren't good at fielding and all. -

My biggest tip for fielding is to stand at the front edge of the circle, not inside of it. When the fielder is in position to catch the ball, he should "lock" in place.
When throwing to bases on groundballs, hit the throw button BEFORE he gets the ball.
For batting, make use of the batting practice. Also turn on exaggerated pitching to get yourself familiar with the batting system.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. I'm playing on Veteran I think. It's the one just past rookie. The only thing about auto fielding is it does the throwing to the bases. Also I'm using classic cursor right now may switch to normal. My main problem on fielding is if the ball is hit over my head,I have to dive,or jump. If it's over my guys head or far from him he never seems to be able to get it and it turns into a double every time.Comment
