Retro Baseball mode

I was reading Bob Costas book about baseball called "Fair ball" and I got an idea that baseball games should implement.

They should allow you to line up divisions and such pre-expansion. Put all the players on expansion teams in Free agency or have a contraction draft, go back to 2 divisions in each league. It'd be a nice concept but I don't know how MLB would feel about it.

I totally agree with you...I would love it if there was a baseball game where we would be able to play in a two division format and w/out a wild card team. NFL 2K3 let you customize teams in your division, which I thought was cool...but different division formats for baseball would be even cooler. I think I'd send the Brewers back to the AL if I had the chance.
