Does anyone know the MLB record for most strikeouts in a game? I was playing allstar last night and proceeded to strike out 23 times(I can't hit the knuckle ball). At the end of the game it announced that the opposing pitcher had set a new record. Just wondering what the old one was.

It is a weird situation.
Johnson struck out 20 in 9 innings but got the no decision. The game went into extra innings. So in reality, I don't believe he is in the record book next to Wood and Clemens b/c he didn't get a decision. I don't know what his pitch count was but he didn't walk anybody. He probably could have came out for another inning.Comment

Oh, sorry didn't see that part... the most my team have struck out offensively was 11 times to Clemens. The most I got is 10.Comment
