    Sinkerball Pitchers

What is the best way to pitch with a sinkerball pitcher? If the sinker is the pitcher's best pitch where and how much do you throw the sinker? Can you also tell me the same thing for the cutter. Thanks.
Life is a gamble and death's like a roll of dice.
So before you shake em and throw, know the price.

Sinkerball pitcher need to keep the ball down to be effective. They sinker causes alot of ground outs while not so many flies. The cutter is good to use down and in. And sometimes down and away, but if your pitcher is tired he could leave a meatball over the plate.

        cutter, in on the hands.

sinker down and out or down and in.

in terms of what order, it depends. like if i strike out one guy with a sinker, i almost always avoid throwing that pitch first to the next batter. but i never use the same routine. sometimes i like to toy with the batters by going in and out, other times i'll go down and out then throw the high heat out of the strike zone. but trying to get K's by going in and out with fastballs, changeups, and sliders is my favorite because its the most challenging i guess.

Having an "out" pitch is great, but remember not to throw the same guys the same pitches in the same order for every at bat. I was pitching against Thome and K'd him twice going low and away only next time up I threw a fastball low and away and he hit it into next year's game. The CPU is smart and the on-deck guy sees what you're throwing as well.
