That's funny... while i'm not as far along in my season with the Phillies, Thome has been the same way for me. I am currently 14-7 with the Phillies on MVP, and while Thome is batting around .340 he has only hit 2 home runs. And now that I think of it, Burrell has also been my "masher" with around 10 homers so far.

In my league, the CPU controlled Phillies are 16-19 4th place 5back

I played 65 games before I got fed up and wanted to start playing GM by simming multiple seasons (damn I REALLY wish we could save more than 1 game on XBOX). Burrell had about 10 HR, Thome was hitting .380 with 18 HR. Marlon Byrd had 8 HR, no one else had more than 3-- Abreu and Lieberthal only 2 each.

Well, after a 5 game winning streak to bring us up to 43-38 at the All-Star break, I've now been blasted 2 in a row by the Reds 5-2 and 9-4. Ouch. 43-40. D@M All-Star break screwed my momentum!
