fictional players can only play one position, which means all minor league players plus drafted rookies can only play one position. having versaitle players is a major plus, and in future seasons when the original players are gone to retirement there won't be any versatile players. so there is definately a premium for "utility" players, especially if you can get them young!!!

utility players are those such as: Craig biggio who can play second and outfield, ricky guiterz who can play 3b and 2b and so on..... players who have the ability to play more than one position even if it is only listed as .1Comment
