jrod, has the best idea. You could set the averages for the game based on previous seasons. Obviously there would need to be some give and take. For example if you have it set at 1.3 hrs a game. There would be a window of .08 to 1.6 hrs a game and could vary each game.

    GREAT IDEA!!!!

How 'bout the ability to globally edit player ratings?! Like if you notice there are too many SB's you could globally raise every Catchers arm rating by a % or you could reduce everyones speed by a ceratin %. You could have this global edit for every rating (see too many HR...reduce the HR rating by 10%). I don't think this would be too difficult to implement this into next years game?!? It would go much further than sliders in allowing the players to adjust the game to their own liking.

I don't think the sliders should impact specific ratings..... or if they did, only the major ones. Have a basrunning slider maybe, arm strength...... bat contact one..... kinda like the high heat sliders or tunefile on the PC.

I dont think this idea makes sense because the amount of homers being hit in a game are relative to how good of a player you are. Setting it to 1.3 homers a game would still mean something completely different to me than it would my little cousin.

I just dont see how you could make a slider that specific unless the game was totally scripted (which would suck).

Just make a slider: more homers, less homers. We all need to go through that annoying phase of figuring it out because we all play at different skill levels ourselves.

I would either like to sliders or an option to make fielding automatic. I know it is important for some people to control everything, but I would prefer to hit and pitch and have an option or slider let the game control the fielding. I struggle with the fielding.

Thanks for all your willingness to answer questions and receive feedback.
