    Question about fantasy baseball...

I hope this is ok to post in this forum, not sure where else to post it, but I have a question about fantasy bball. I started a league this year that about 12 of my buddies are in with me. Most of us are new to fantasy baseball, but some have done many leagues.

One of the guys who has done many has dropped all of his starting pitchers, but I don't understand how that won't hurt him. He had good pitchers. As far as stats, the settings are using the following for stats:

    Wins
    Losses
    Complete Games
    Shutouts
    Saves
    Hits
    Earned Runs
    Walks
    Strikeouts
    Earned Run Average
    (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched

Can someone explain this to me?

    Thanks!

what is the max number of innings that all of your pitchers can pitch in your league. If it is set at a really low number then it might be best to drop them so they wont eat up all of the innings.

It is 1250, but the point is that it isn't fair, or real baseball, to not have pitchers on a baseball team.

He is automatically going to get most points for losses, ERA, hits, and other categories, because he'll have the lowest possible stats for those categories.

You should check and see if there's a minimum innings pitched on a weekly basis... I know in my Yahoo league you must rack up 7 innings of pitching, you get one ace pitcher like Pedro and 2-3 closers and you're pretty much set. As far as dropping pitchers, that's just stupid, and quite honestly, very bush-league thing to do.
