What about Shin-Shoo Choo from Cleveland?

He put up pretty nice numbers over 94 games. He's someone I'll be targeting late in fantasy baseball.

I love these threads, they're basically "come in and name the best prospect in your favorite team's organization".

yeah...so? it is a great way to learn about prospects from around the league. Most folks don't have the time, resources, or desire to learn about all the teams and all the prospects.

i like threads like these BECAUSE people list their favorite prospect from their favorite team... you just seem whiny.

If there were only a cub to mention....

Choo is a very good hitter, solid stroke that is very Ichiro-esqe, but more power and less speed. Choo is also a below average fielder in he outfield.

And despite all of that, he will have to join the South Korean Army, as all youths do in South Korea, unless he becomes a US Citizen. He would have to leave after this up coming season if he doesn't become a US Citizen.

                    Brett Wallace

The man is a beast. Cardinals drafted him in June, he finished the season in AA and almost was promoted to AAA! But the minor leagues season ends sooner than the MLB, so no dice.

The kid hits for average, power to all fields and is pretty mobile for his size.

The only knock on him is what his actual position is.

Is it his 3B? OF? or 1B? First base is blocked by Pujols, so for now he's taking grounders at third.

His position may be up in the air but his stick will carry him to the big leagues.
