Once the pitcher goes into windup or once he starts his motion to home, press O once and the batter will close his stance. When the pitch is coming hit O again only you'll need to time it with the pitch. That is how I drag bunt.
For returning the runner, I believe R1 returns all runners. If you have other guys on, hold O and then press the corresponding base direction.

I've drag bunted perfectly a couple of times, but I do this too much with my lead off guy and he ends up striking out since I have in the hole already.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. It's nice that drag bunting isn't easy. It takes awhile to get the timing right. I struck out about ten times before I successfully laid one down, and was easily thrown out.

I found more success using this with easy batting than normal cursor (don't ask me why), i just need to lay off the tactic most of the time.

I've had 2 or 3 succesful drag bunts so far with Furcal (classic cursor). I usually try to lay one down on the first pitch. You have to kind of hope that the pitch is somewhere in the middle of the zone, most of mine have been low and away. If the player is a good bunter, they will square up very late (almost when the pitch is delivered). So, it doesn't give you much time to place your cursor on the ball..and once you commit to a drag bunt it is a strike if you don't make contact. Both of my bunts have been right on the line rolling right along the chalk where the fielder doesn't even attempt a throw. Another one went right up the first base line, pulled the 1b off the bag and I beat the pitcher to the bag.
