I have recently changed my errors setting to Many from Normal. I was only getting about 1 error every other game or so.
I am ecstatic that I did. Setting the errors to Many doesn't mean you will start dropping all kinds of balls that you should have. It enhances defensive ratings. Example: If I put BJ Surhoff at 3B in place of Tony Batista, even though BJ's defensive ratings are better, the familiarity means more.
Also, with the Many setting, if you have a tough play to make (OF chasing a fly ball in the gap), you have to strategize more as to whether you are going to go after it or not. If you have an average fielder and go for, you risk a pretty good chance that he may drop the ball. Or if you force a throw, better chances of it being offline.
Just some food for thought, you guys may wanna try it out.
