    The 'Sosa Curse' continues.....

The 'Sosa Curse': Sammy has hit 60+ HR's 3 times, something no other major leaguer has ever done, yet in each of those years, he did not lead the league in HR's. Well, 'Ol Sammy is poised to get robbed again. Sosa has 58 homers with 12 games left, and will likely hit at least 3-5 more. Guess who else sits on 58? Bonds. Barry Bonds. At the all star break, Sosa had 40, he has only hit 18 since then, Barry, on the other hand, had only 26 at the break, hitting 32 since then. Now, I'm not a bettin' man, but I'm willin' to bet that Bonds is going to end up with more HR than Sosa...of course, I COULD cheat and reduce some of the sliders...hmmm.....

He seems to maybe be coming out of his slump...problem is, every pitcher is now throwing him low pitches that he just keeps getting under and lofting deep into the outfield. I could make solid contact, they jsut weren't going out. Now, it looks like they might be. The last two homers (over 3 games) were from low pitches that he wasn't hitting out before.... I just want the man to hit 60+ homers AND have the most HR's....is that too much to ask?!

AHA!!! Sosa MAY win the crown...and I didn't decrease the sliders, I actually INCREASED to All-Star Difficulty (was on Pro). I also went into my management sliders and increased 'power' at the expense of contact and discipline(I had lowered power to increase those ratings). Since then, Sosa has hit 5 HR (3 in one game against the Mets). Bellhorn has also been hot (with 4 HR in a span of 4 or 5 games). Anyway, not that anyone cares, Sosa: 63 HR. Bonds: 59. ...with about 12 games left.
