franchise question?

the manual seems to suggest that by performing certain tasks in franchise mode(team goals) that you can get offered jobs from other teams. can anyone confirm this? how soon do you start to get offers? if anybody knows, please let me know.

a while back i simmed through about 12 years to see what would happen. around year 6 i recieved an offer. that was around the same time that most of my team's goals were met. after year 8 or so, there was an offer every year.

also, you don't have to leave your team after 10 years if you don't want to. keep goin til yer fired. pretty cool indeed.

thanks for the info. i'm playing with the yankess until clemens retires and then hopefully i will get an offer from the cubs, so i can see what i can do with prior and wood.
