XBOX Action Replay Impressions

This thing is great! I just downloaded Sdrotar's WSB Rosters w/in minutes of gettng home with this. How Ironic is it that I picked up the Sharkport for PS2 to download Shawn's High Heat 2003 Season Schedule/Rosters save. Thanks bro!

Any way, Action Replay will much more user friendly to those of you (not me of course) who had problems getting the sharkport to work. First of all you do not have to have your XBOX actually in the room that your computer is in. That was my only complaint about the sharkport is that I would have to haul my PS2 around to get my rosters off the net.

The Action Replay comes with the install disk, a 8 MB memory card, and a USB basestation (for the lack of a better term) that the memory card hooks in to conduct all your file transfers.

This thing is a God send for all sports roster nuts such as ourselves.

Looking for a little more info here.

I don't know how familiar you are with digital camera's, but the memory card reader you are describing for the AR sounds similiar to compact flash card readers for digital camera's.

i saw madden 2003 rosters at codejunkies, krazystanley ,where did you get the ws rosters, have you seen any for HH, also can you use the same roster d/l's with xbox action replay that i see for ps2

As the man that told Crazy to get this (I am taking credit for everything around here ), I will tell you this.

Action Replay is like the DexDrive. You hook a Memory Card port to your USB port. You then put your memory card (only the one that comes with the Action Replay is compatible) into the Memory Card port, upload your saves, then put it in your Xbox Controller (hence, the Xbox doesn't need to be in the same room).

As for WSB rosters, there are sdrotar's rosters, and my rosters up for WSB 2K3 right now. I know his are fantastic, and I tried to do just as well with mine. And PS2 saves will NOT work with the Xbox Action Replay.

P.S. - No High Heat saves up as of yet, I believe eveyrone is sorta waiting for the Xbox Live update first.
