Am I missing something or is there really no defensive ratings? Do all players have the same arm strenght and fielding ability or are the weak defenders more likely to commit errors?

no.. the fielding ratings are their.. its under their offensive rankings i think. -

I'm pretty sure there is a ranking for fielding percentage and for each position. I know that when I went to create a player you could play with their fielding % and position ranking. For example if a 3rd baseman like Rolen were to play 2B, he would be more likely to commit an error at 2B than he would be at fielding his normal position.Comment
