Is this right?

I have played 14 games now in my franchise and I average 13.5 hits a game. that is with using a very small cursor and fast pitch . Also the comp pitching was 85 , ( I'm moving it up now to 100). So is that right or not realistic? Thanks

Still wondering , I'm just geting WaY too many hits. I lead the league by like 40 hits and Batting Ave is way better than anyones. I'm playing with the Braves , it's not like they are best team or anything.

Try pitch speed on very fast...it made it much tougher to hit for me.

I started the season out hitting like .340 through the first week or so (with the Buccos) and am now hitting about .290...still best in the league, but not by much.

Also, something I found to be fun and challenging is to use the power swing most of the time, especially with guys who strike out a lot or power hitters. THis helps keep the little bloop hits down and is actually pretty realistic. For example, Aramis Ramirez rarely swings just to make contact and strikes out a lot in real life, so in the game, I use the power swing almost exclusively with him.

ok , I have pitching speed already set to very fast , I have the very small cursor setting and no struke zone shown. The pitching rating for the AI is set to 100. There is nothing else that I know of to do , it's just to easy to get hits in this game. My teams Batting ave is around 345 and I have 50 more hits then any other team , I average 14 hits a game. I really think this game is fun and really like playing it but I just wish I could get realistic stats. I thought about lowering all of my batters rating but that just seems like a very last resort to me. oh , well. Can someone PLEASE help me? Thanks.

I ended up in that same boat. The game just got way too easy to hit on the highest settings. I like the game, but I went back to ASB.
