    Franchise and Season question

I heard player ratings change in Franchise. Do they change in Season mode? This will truly suck if they don't change in season since I have already played 30 games in season mode. Can you play games in Franchise mode?

    Re: Franchise and Season question

I don't know about ratings changing in season mode. I would think that they don't change because there wouldn't be much point considering that you're only playing one season. As far as playing in franchise mode, yes, you can play any and all games.

        Re: Franchise and Season question

I have a question about Franchise:

        1. In the Minor League Report Screen from the Minors Director, what does ETA(years) mean? Some guys have numbers below this, and some guys have NOW, and NEVER.

        2. On the same screen I know what it means to be a Starter and a Backup, but what is a Mopup, or Scrub?

Mopup is when you're down 10-0 in the 8th ... toss somebody in to eat innings, and save your good relief pitchers for a game that's winnable. I assume scrup is about the same ... these are end-of-the-bench guys.

So you're saying that I can't continue playing more seasons after I finish the one I'm playing now? Can you import a Season into a Franchise??

Actually, Mopup is the exact opposite. Bring em in when you're UP 10-0.
