I was exploring my adjust rosters page and noticed that somehow my #1 pick from the previous season only had 1 option remaining... now, I have spent a few restless night messing around in the immense depth of the game and I'm wondering if I put my man on the 40man, took him off, put him back on, then took him off again, or something (I know the first thing they tell you when you put a guy on the 40 man is it will cost him an option) .. is any other franchise player beyond year one having a similar problem?

Did u maybe put him on the 40-man roster, then take him off, and send him to the minors from your 25-man active roster?

Well, I'm 95% sure I've never had him on my 25man roster. He's 19 and a c- rating so he'd get beat down if he was in the majors. The point is the options represent years, and he's down to 1 and he's only been on my team for 1 year so where'd the third option go even if I fiddled with his status. It just doesn't add up. I could send him up and down a thousand times, but he shouldn't lose an option unless the year changes or he's put on the 40 man for the first time.
I just noticed my #1 pick from this year is down to 2 options. I haven't put him on the 40 man so I don't know why he's lost an option already.
