This isn't baseball, but St Johns used to have this short black guy on their basketball team, and the student section would always chant "Ga-rrry Coleman!" when he'd get the ball.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. during a sox-rays game last year....
"hey Blue, thats not a 5 iron hes hitting with." (on a low pitch called a strike)

then these were all to mike camron last year when the sox played the M's at comisky

When I went to a Cubs game at Wrigely a few years back, some guy next to me kept yelling "Grace, you can't hit the ball looking at the Torco sign." I got a kick out of that every time the guy said it.Comment
