Bonds moves to #2 on the all time HR list !
Bonds has 727 career HR's now. He hit 46 in my first season, and 56 in year #2. If he doesn't retire, he should pass Aaron in year #3.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

i find that simulating seasons makes the stats weak (Sweeney won the triple crown for me with a line of .318, 44, 136) Did you sim, or did you play one game of each series? Did you find that the sim stats were normal for you? Only four NL players hit over .300 in my second season. -

Wow. Still going strong.
He hasn't been that powerful in my franchise (luckily for me, since I'm the D-Backs). I'm in August of my third season and he has just passed 715, but he's struggling (by his standard), with 21 HRs and .220 avg.Comment

Re: Bonds moves to #2 on the all time HR list !
I'm mid-way through July of my first season with the Cubs. I play one game of each series. Halfway through the season Bonds only has 14 HR's for the Giants. That number really surprised me. Sosa, Thome, A-Rod are all around 30.Comment

Re: Bonds moves to #2 on the all time HR list !
Simmed stats are crap... I just simmed my season for fun (didn't save it) and my guy who had 11 homers in May (the month I started the sim) only had 15 at the end of the season. He's a power hitter too. And I don't think patience does anything because everyone in my team at least struckout 70 times (everyday players that is).Comment

made an error, Bonds had 714 after the 2004 season. He is currently tied with Babe Ruth for 2nd place. In 24 at bats in 2005, he has zero HR's. He is 41 years old now.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx
