He played CF only in a handful of spring training games. (A total of like 16 innings, I believe).
Larkin was actually slated to play CF in Sunday's finale with the Cubs, but talked Boone out of it due to the extreme temperatures and high winds. For obvious reasons, Larkin wasn't comfy with the position switch under those conditions.
During the two games I've seen at GAB, Larkin was taking flies in CF during pre-game both times.
Too bad Reggie Taylor can't hit, huh?

Another player moving to a new position. There are so many players trying to convert to a different position. Knoblauch, Durham, etc. Should be a very interesting year.

Interesting, He looked pretty out of it in the two games I saw against the Cubs, I kind of felt bad for him, this switching to CF at 39 can't be a good idea.
