I was playing the Phils and Tome's batting cursor got smaller

...from one game to another. Was he just tired and it gets smaller? because the next game it went back to normal.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? My guess is that he was tired playing games back to back and so it shows it in the decreased batting cursor. If that's the case, how do I check if a player's tired or not on the menu options?

might have just been that he does worse againt that one pitcher that started the game where his cursor was smaller

and when you scroll down the starting lineup right before you start the game itll say (tired) beside the players name

It was because of the pitcher he was facing. If you ever notice, the cpu will sub in a pitcher who throws the side you bat on (lefty-lefty), then you power hitter becomes an average hitter in terms of cursor size. I personally love it and I'm glad that Sega put it in. I don't know your exact situation, but that is almost assuredly what happened.

Wait, so you were playing AGAINST the Phils? How did you see his cursor in the first place?

I think it has to do with the handedness of the pitcher. I have Timo Perez, who is a lefty, and his rating against right handers is something like 50, while against left handed pitchers it's like 30. So whenever a lefty is on the mound, his cursor shrinks a lot!
