Attribute editor; is anyone really making one?

I sure hope one is in the works, but I've yet to see a post of someone actaully devoloping a GUI that will allow us to edit all/any of the players attributes in a batch type mode.

I'm not complaining, just really hoping someone with the skills is actaully stepping up and doing this.

We all know what the game really needs:

More speed on basepaths, especially to first
Less range and arm strength of infielders
Less line drives, more groundballs...Maybe even more HR's
More innings by the Starting pitchers

Please let us know if one is in the works.

    Thanks!

The webmaster at MVP Baseball Zone has said that he will be making an editor (he's the same person that made the editors for the Triple Play series).

I've got a .dat file that I've been working on that addresses some of the things that you mentioned. It's a work in progress that this point.

    good luck,

More info...I've been able to get the .dat files imported into an Access database, edit them, and then export them again. Works pretty well, not nearly as nice as a dedicated editor though.

How in the world did you get it to open in Access? I kept getting an "Unrecognized database type" error...

Hey there Scott, how'd you do this? Care to let me play around with it a bit? I could give you my e-mail address.
