yet another great late night game, against the marlins once again.

I blew a 3-1 lead in the 8th, game was tied 3-3 forthe next 10 innings!! That's right, 18 innings, finally top of 18 Burnitz on 1st with 2 outs, i hit and run with Jay Bell pinchhitting, he doubled into the left centerfield gap and slow A** burnitz barely beats the relay throw home. Having already used every single pitcher in my pen, i brought in my 5th starter Cone in the 17th, he pitched 2 scoreless innings for the win. Epic indeed, as i was trying to hurry and get a game in before bed, little did i know i would play the equivilent of 2 full games

"what diff.'s do you notice between the diff levels?"

probably the stuff you expect. the higher the difficulty, the smarter the ai. i mean, hh is sound, so even on the lower difficulty levels you won't see *blatantly* stupid stuff from the cpu, but i am talking about stuff like swinging at strike 3 when the ball is out of the strike zone, grooving one to piazza, etc.

getting hits and runs on hof in particular is very difficult. i played a few games on mvp and didn't have much trouble, but in hof i am having trouble scrapping for runs. it is fun though.

to tell you the truth, i should probably be playing on mvp (i would probably be about .500 on mvp is what i mean - the perfect level for me) but i am going for the challenge with hof. it really makes me think and keeps me on the edge of my seat. hh is the best baseball game around imo - nothing else touches its realism and baseball feel.

it is cool to see another mets fan btw. how do you have jay bell? i am using the ps2 version (have it rented - going to buy the gcn one when it comes out because i don't have an xbox). bell is not on the roster for me.

I am using the geekrosters rosters, they rule

They are perfect as guys get hurt and i just call up a guy i've actually heard of, i'm controlling all the teams so it is kind of a fun thing to have in it, rather than made up guys.

That geekrosters guy must be a genius
